Clustering
Innopark places great importance on creating innovation-focused clusters among organizations in the region. To this end, a Clustering Center, staffed by professional experts, operates within Innopark. The Clustering Center works in collaboration with all actors in the innovation ecosystem to develop new strategies for clustering, implement new projects, and create best practice examples.
By gathering suppliers around certain anchor firms based in Innopark, these firms will develop their own planetary systems. The first anchor firm to be established in Innopark will be the executing company of the Seed and Gene Valley Project, which will carry out seed development activities under the auspices of the Konya Commodity Exchange. This company will collaborate with over 60 seed companies in Konya, attracting them to the region.
The Konya Automotive Sub-Industry Cluster, the Konya Foundry Cluster, the Konya Footwear Cluster, and the Konya Agricultural Machinery Cluster, all established under the leadership of the Konya Chamber of Industry, will carry out their subsequent activities within Konya Technology Development Zone (TGB). This will be a significant factor in attracting technology firms engaged in R&D activities to the region.
Innopark will prioritize the establishment of innovation and R&D-oriented clusters within KONYA TGB, focusing on the creation of Software Clustering, Biotechnology Clustering, Defense Industry Clustering, and Energy Clustering.
